I mentioned in my last post that I bought a hank of Three Irish Girls yarn:  Glenhaven Cashmerino to be more specific.  It is absolutely heavenly, so I bought some more.

These are from their Adorn Sock yarn line (finer gauge but not as soft and squishy as the cashmerino):

This pink yarn was included in a photo in a previous post.  It was the first Sanguine Gryphon yarn I have ever tried.  I have always heard good things, but the price is a little steep.  This yarn is so soft and wonderful.  It’s my new favorite, second to the Three Irish Girls Glenhaven Cashmerino (I’m not sure anything could be softer and more luxurious than that).

I really like the colors produced by Sanguine Gryphon.  I recently heard that they are no longer going to produce Bugga and Skinny Bugga — something about the business owners parting ways (to read about it, CLICK HERE) — so I bought a few additional hanks since I don’t know if these yarns will be available for much longer.

Look at the color of this ‘Skinny Bugga’ sock yarn.  And it is so soft!

I always like to hear about and see what other knitters are knitting with, or what awesome independent fiber artist they have discovered whose yarn they love, so I thought it fitting that on Small Business Saturday, I show you some of my favorite, recent purchases.

Did you make it out to some local shops for Small Business Saturday?  I hope you did — and I hope you found time to do some knitting, too.
